Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SWAPQR at qr.bnj.app, operated by Hugo Software ("we", "us"). By using the service you accept them.
1. What the service is
SWAPQR generates QR codes. Static codes and photo codes are produced in your browser and are free. Dynamic codes point to a short address on qr.bnj.app that forwards scanners to a destination you can change later, and they come with scan statistics.
2. The one thing to understand about dynamic codes
A dynamic code only works while the forwarding service is online and the code is active. If your subscription ends, if you delete the code, or if the service were ever discontinued, a printed dynamic code stops forwarding. A static code has no such dependency. Choose accordingly for material that must keep working for years; we say this plainly because printed material cannot be recalled.
We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing the forwarding service, and we will stop charging for Pro if we do.
3. Your codes and destinations
You are responsible for the destinations your codes point to and for the material you print them on. Do not point codes at content that is unlawful, deceptive, malicious (phishing, malware) or that impersonates another business. We may deactivate codes that are reported for such use.
4. Scan statistics
Scan statistics count forwarding requests. They are approximate, do not identify the person scanning, and may be affected by preview fetches, repeated scans and blocked requests. Do not rely on them as an audited measure.
5. Free use and Pro
Static and photo codes are free without limit. Pro is a subscription (weekly, monthly and yearly plans, with a 24-hour free trial, prices shown in the app before purchase) that unlocks dynamic codes with editable destinations and scan statistics. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
6. Licence codes
There are no accounts. Pro is unlocked by a licence code in the form BNJ-XXXXXXXX. Treat it as a key: anyone who has it can manage your dynamic codes. Keep a copy.
7. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal linked in the app; cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period. Statutory rights of withdrawal, where they apply, are unaffected. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.
8. Refunds
If Pro does not work as described, write to us and we will look at it and refund where that is fair. We do not refund a paid period simply because it went unused.
9. Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change features. See section 2 for what discontinuation would mean.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including reprinting costs or lost business from a code that stopped forwarding.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
